NCIS season 6 has more twists and turns in it than Season 4 did to us. When NCIS spun off from JAG in 2003, it was billed as a more modern, more action-packed version of the legal military drama. While NCIS started out fairly modestly in the ratings, it became one of the few shows out there to increase ratings every season until it became one of the most-watched shows on television. NCIS became so popular, in fact, that it's spawning a spin-off of its own, NCIS: Los Angeles, set to air this fall on CBS.

This show is a hoot! The stories move along at a fast pace and so does the banter between the main characters. For me, character development is everything - I buy into these wonderful performances completely. Clearly, one the best shows on television.

NCIS matches excellent, realistic forensics with a gritty police drama. The show is thoroughly enjoyable in the first run and worth buying as a DVD to enjoy again.
